Mission & Goals


Mission:

BASR is a national development NGO functioning as a resource center, empowering people with disabilities, offering them pioneer health and rehabilitation services and provide the Palestinian community with professional specialized medical services from a human rights and inclusive development perspectives.


Goals:

In order to achieve the vision and tackle the problems present in the surrounding environment and to be able to manage the change in the future, BASR works on reaching the following strategic objectives:
• First Strategic Objective: increase community and self readiness of people with disabilities towards inclusiveness.
• Second Strategic Objective: Reinforce the physical and psychological capacities of people with disabilities to enable them for effective participant in the community.
• Third Strategic Objective: Enhance the Palestinian people access to specialized health care
• Fourth Strategic Objective: Reinforce the organization’s readiness to implement its strategic plan.
