Mission:

To provide humanitarian assistance, health and social services to the Palestinian people when and where needed. That is to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found, to protect life and health and ensure respect for the human being, in times of peace and armed conflict and other emergencies, to work for the prevention of disease and for the promotion of health and social welfare, and to encourage voluntary service.


Goals:

1- The independence and the neutrality of the PRCS are ensured and protected.
2- Knowledge and awareness of humanitarian values, International humanitarian Law and Human rights among the general public and specific target groups have increased.
3- The protection of the PRCS medical teams and the RCRC Movements operations has improved through building respect for the protective emblems and providing documentation and follow up of violations.
4- Staff and volunteers are familiar with the principles of the RCRC Movement, IHL and the PRCS code of conduct.
5- Regional and international awareness about the Palestinian humanitarian situation, health and social development, has increased.
