Mission & Goals


Mission:

The Palestinian Working Woman Society for Development is Palestinian national grassroots women organization that aims for gender equality and the eradication all forms of discrimination against women through strengthening, empowering and mobilizing women’s participation in the development processes, the promotion of women civic and human rights and by improving women’s and girls mental health and psychological well- being.


Goals:

1 - Promotion and empowerment of women in areas of decision-making.
2 - To contribute to the development of laws, regulations and administrative procedures and structures to ensure equality, in addition to eliminating all forms of discrimination.
3 - To provide psychological and social support for women and their children and work to reduce violence against them in all forms of discrimination.
4 - To contribute to the development of a progressive feminist speech.
5 - Development of institutional, financial and organizational performance within the association.
