To promote the welfare and safety of children with special needs in Palestine.
The PHCC aims at promoting child welfare and well being through identification, prevention and intervention of childhood disorders, providing special education for children with special needs, promoting child's rights, raising community and parental awareness, training professionals and paraprofessionals, and conducting research studies that provide descriptive maps of social problems of children and families, perspective, social realities, and resources.


Goals:

-To meet the needs of all children at the educational, medical and psychological level.
-To provide diagnostic and educational services to children with special needs such as those with development delays, learning disabilities, communication disorders, emotional disturbance sensory disabilities and other psychological problems.
-To raise community and parental awareness in regard to childhood disorders, for early detection and prevention.
-To empower parents and especially mothers of children with special needs by providing the adequate support, resources, and opportunities in order to have better lives for them and their children.
