Mission & Goals

Mission:

PMRS seeks to improve the overall physical, mental, and social well being of all Palestinians, regardless of racial, political, social, economic status, religion or gender. Our quality health services focus on the needs of the most vulnerable members of Palestinian society: women, children, disabled and the poor in rural villages, refugee camps, and urban centers.

Goals:

- Build and develop models of accessible, affordable, comprehensive and integrated primary health care and health insurance services in all target areas.
- Assist in the building of coalitions and coordination and mobilization of resources to influence national health policies.
- Empower communities through the promotion of voluntarism and participation to lobby and advocate for their health rights.
- Strengthen our organizational structure, ensure capacity-building and promote a culture of ownership and professionalism.
- Promote PMRS's sustainability and self-reliance.
- Contribute to the national struggle against occupation and for freedom and support the steadfastness of Palestinian communities in the face of oppression and racial discrimination.
